In October 2024, Lisa premiered a new performance at CODA International Dance Festival. If This | Then embraces Lis's choreographic practice of working with language, navigating through layers of meaning and questions power relations. Through playful scenarios, Bysheim explores the containers of language. Here's an interview about her process and project.
Dust Devil
In June 2023, Lisa had a two-week residency at Onassis AIR in Athens with her research project Dust Devil, exploring the potential of emergent patterns as it intersects with the concept of mass ornaments in Athens public squares.
The residency is organised by Onassis AiR in collaboration with BIT Teatergarasjen as part of the Transmissions project. Transmissions is coordinated by Onassis Stegi (Greece) in partnership with Ultima Oslo Contemporary Music Festival (Norway) and is supported by the EEA Grants program and the Norwegian Financial Mechanisms 2014–2021.
